It was senior night Wednesday, Jan. 12, at Zachary High as the ZHS Wrestling team took on Brusly High in its last home dual meet. Senior wrestlers honored, with their family, from left: Eli Rake, son Jeff and Shirley Rake; Trevor Limmer; son of Kenny and Lisa Limmer; Ryan Coreil, son of Deana and Gordon Coreil; Jared Daigle, son of Lajuanda and Tim Daigle; and Hunter Berthelot, son of Suzanne and Brent Berthelot. Daigle and Limmer are the team’s top wrestlers this year. The ZHS team was the runner-up in the St. Thomas More Dual Meet Tournament held in December, followed by a win in the Big Horse Wrestling Tournament held in Zachary’s new gym.
