McDavid said the 18-wheeler in question allegedly struck a 2007 Black Lexus on La. Hwy. 19 at St. Louis Street about 12:56 p.m., which caused heavy damage to the rear of the vehicle.
The 18-wheeler was last seen heading west on Rollins Place Road.
Zachary Police are asking anyone with information about the 18-wheeler to call the ZPD at 654-1905 or Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.
The date of the hit-and-run was Saturday, May 12.
