The Zachary Police Department is asking for help from Zachary citizens in identifying the person seen committing a crime in these images.

Police Chief David McDavid said on Tuesday, April 17, Zachary Police responded to Spectrum Fitness, 1326 Church St., in reference to a complaint of two burglaries, said McDavid.

Upon arrival, Zachary officers learned that two purses had been stolen from two health club members' vehicles.

It was later discovered that one of the victim's credit cards was used at the Zachary Walmart about 7:30 p.m. to purchase an iPad, bedding and gift cards, said McDavid.

The suspect in the surveillance images was taken from security cameras at Walmart and reveals an unidentified black female using the victim’s credit cards wearing a red and white striped shirt and an oversized, green and white striped, floppy hat.

If you know the person in these images or anything about this incident, please contact the Zachary PD by calling 654-1905 or 654-9393.
