Dutchtown (2-1) scored on their opening possession as Mason Nickens ran it in from 6-yards out. Tyler Sarrazin added the extra point as the Griffins led 7-0.
The Broncos' Kentrell Fisher later scored on a 40-yard blocked punt return, and Jacob Garrett’s PAT tied the game, 7-7.
Dutchtown grabbed a 14-7 advantage when Nickens scored on a 15-yard run, and Sarrazin’s PAT was good.
The Broncos stormed back into the game when Darryl Garner blocked a Dutchtown field-goal attempt, and Fisher raced 58-yards to score off the loose ball.
Garrett’s extra point tied the game 14-14 late in the third quarter.
Boston Scott gave Zachary the lead when he scored on a 3-yard run midway through the fourth period. Scott finished with 89 yards rushing on the night as the Broncos had 152 yards on the ground and 95 yards in passing.
Nickens threw for nearly 120 yards and rushed for 119 more.
Torrance Mosley added 87 yards rushing for Dutchtown as the Griffins finished with 271 yards on the ground and another 119 through the air.
The Broncos (3-1) host undefeated West Feliciana (4-0) on Friday, Sept. 28, in their final non-district game of the season.
