UPDATE: The ZHS vs. Walker High district soccer game, initially scheduled for Friday, Jan. 18, in Bronco Stadium, has been postponed and rescheduled for Tuesday night, Jan. 22, at Walker High.

The Walker head coach is unable to make tonight's match.

The Varsity ZHS and Walker teams will play at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Walker HS with the JV teams to follow.

Please make plans to attend this match, as the Broncos are undefeated in district play!

The Zachary High Boys soccer team was victorious earlier this week when the boys secured a 5-0 win on Monday, Jan. 14, over Denham Springs.

This game put the Broncos at 4-0 in 5-5A district play.

Burke Daigle scored two goals, with Jonathan Davis, Derek Wooden and Toby Nzewi scoring one goal each.

The Broncos' JV team also won, defeating Denham 2-0 with both goals scored by Kyle Durbin.

Then on Wednesday, Jan. 16, the Broncos continued their district domination by defeating Central High 6-0.

Look for exciting district action by the ZHS Broncos in the Jan. 23 edition of the Zachary Plainsman-News on newsstands Tuesday, Jan. 22!

Go, Broncos!
