On Saturday, April 30, nearly 70 pounds of prescription medication were collected by Louisiana State Police troopers as part of the second National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. Over 100,000 prescription pills, including lortabs, hydrocodone, oxicontin, muscle relaxers, pain relievers, sleeping pills, ADHD medication and more, were turned in by area residents.
