The New Orleans Hornets and Best Western Inns have joined efforts to bring to the community Zachary's Night at the Hive on Wednesday, Dec. 1.

The ZHS Bronco basketball team will play Tara High School at 2 p.m. in the New Orleans Arena and the Zachary community, students and businesses are invited to participate. The Zachary Chamber and participating businesses will also be recognized.

"This is a night to have New Orleans at Zachary's feet," said Devin Johnson, New Orleans Hornets group sales manager, a Zachary native and ZHS grad. "We will treat this like a home game for ZHS, only it will be in New Orleans on the Hornets' court."

Zachary players will have access to the lockers, court, announcers and much more. The Bronco Belles and ZHS cheerleaders will also perform. The New Orleans Hornets will play the Charlotte Bobcats at 7 p.m. following the Broncos.
