Anne Day Record Stout was born July 13, 1925, in Clinton, and was a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. She died on Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, after living 14 years with Alzheimer's disease. During her life she was active at First United Methodist Church and a member of DAR and PEO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Franklin Record; and her husband, Robert Newton Stout. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Anne Henderson and her husband, Rory F. Henderson, and Bobby Gene Ward and her husband, Ted F. Ward; four grandchildren, Paul Robert Henderson and his wife, Jennifer Wigginton Henderson, Mark William Henderson and his wife, Laura Free Henderson, Finley Newton Ward, and Anna Hailey Ward; five great-grandchildren, Jake Travis Henderson, Matthew Ross Henderson, Nathan Redding Henderson, Noah Maxwell Henderson and Katherine Eliza Henderson; her sisters, Florence Elizabeth Record Stout and her husband, Gene Morgan Stout, and June Record Boutte; and several nieces and nephews. Anne also had an extended family which included her wonderful neighbors and Ruby Young, her caregiver for the past several months. At her request, her body was donated to the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. There will be a family memorial service at a later date. Memorial donations may be sent to Charlie's Place of Alzheimer's Services of the Capital Area, Hospice of Baton Rouge, First United Methodist Church or the charity of choice.
