The fifth-annual Annual Zachary High School Baseball Auction is currently scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 22, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in the gym at 6 p.m. This auction is the primary fundraiser for the Bronco Baseball team. There will be live entertainment from the ZHS Jazz Band, and the Bronco baseball team will be introduced as well as be your hosts for the evening. This year’s key note speaker will be Jay Artigues, the head baseball coach at Southeastern Louisiana University.

The night will feature a live auction, silent auction and dinner. The silent auction will begin at 6 p.m. and continue until 8 p.m. It will feature various items valued at an average of $50.

Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. The live auction, with items valued in excess of $100, will begin at 8 p.m. The live auction will feature unique items to bid on, some of them even priceless. A brochure that advertises the sponsors and their donations of the live auction items will be available the week before the auction for public viewing.

Zachary community businesses, families, fans and friends have all contributed and made past auctions successful. If you would like to make an auction item donation or a monetary donation and be advertised in the live auction program, please call 301-5893.

The Zachary High School Baseball Auction is always an evening filled with fun, entertainment and much merriment. It promises to be a good time, so mark your calendars and make plans to support the ZHS Broncos. Tickets are $20 per person. Please contact a Bronco baseball player or call 301-5893 for tickets.
