Ted was a salesman with Acme Brick Co. for more than 30 years. He was 60, a resident of Baker and a native of Huey Town, Ala. Ted passed away Monday, Jan. 24, 2011. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Saturday, Jan. 29, from 10 a.m. until noon. Ted is survived by his wife, Nicole Strickland; daughter, Jennifer S. Strickland and husband Michael; and three brothers, Joe Strickland and wife Peggy, Jerry Strickland and wife Kathi, and Mickey Strickland. He was preceded in death by his father, John T. Strickland; and mother, Vergie M. Walton Strickland.
