In addition, three senior Lady Broncos were recently recognized at Senior Night Friday, Jan. 21, during the team's final, regular season match against Central.
Seniors Breanna Hinton, Kendell Knight and team captain Jeanell Varnadore were presented with roses and greeted by their parents. Principal Wes Watts was on hand to congratulate each of the seniors.
"The future is extremely bright for the ZHS girls soccer program," said Owen. "This year’s team was blessed with a great group of talented freshman who were able to make significant contributions at the varsity level in their first year. As these players develop, and with some exciting prospects moving up from the middle school ranks, the next several years should be exciting."
The Plainsman would like to congratulate seniors Breanna Hinton, Kendell Knight and Jeanell Varnadore on a wonderful high school soccer career and wish them luck in all future endeavors.
