Sponsors of the Miss ZFest competition will have food bank collection barrels placed at their businesses through the end of ZFest for people to donate canned goods. Those sponsors are La Marie Day Spa, Pretty Woman, Gift Gallery, Don Lyn Florist, Papa Murphy's and Nouveau Coiffure.
Zachary Food Bank volunteers say that supplies runs low during this time of the year and with the help of ZFest and the Zachary community, shelves and food items can be restocked.
Monique Smith of Nouveau Coiffure organized the food bank drive and is heading up the Miss ZFest competition this year.
