"Last year we raised $5,500 for breast cancer awareness," said Bronco head baseball coach Jesse Cassard. "I would also like to make this day alumni day at Zachary High. Anyone who has ever played baseball for ZHS is welcome to come out and they will be recognized before the game."
Real Men Wear Pink is an annual fundraiser shared between the two high schools and helps in the fight against breast cancer.
In lieu of a gate fee, attendees are asked to make a contribution which will go to the Susan G. Koman Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness.
Show your support for the team by attending this exciting fundraiser, and be sure to wear your pink as members of both baseball teams will be wearing pink jerseys.
Raising Cane's will also be on hand and running the dizzy bat contest and a dance contest which will both be held between games. This should be a fun and competitive day for a great cause.
Real Men Wear Pink is sponsored by the Bank of Zachary, Lane Regional Medical Center, Parkview Baptist and Zachary High School.
