On Saturday, Sept. 10, Marion Edwards and the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra and Conservatory of Music will unite to bring former Gov. Edwin Edwards to the Roaster’s Table.

The event, entitled "Louisiana Man for Louisiana Music," will be a unique evening of fund-raising and will benefit the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra’s Children’s Concert Series.

A panel of twelve well-armored roasters, personally selected by Marion, were invited to participate with a good-humored warning from the master of ceremonies, “It is a no-holes-barred evening of jest, but be prepared for Edwin’s razor-sharp comebacks as I will be!"

Despite many requests for the former governor’s time, his love of music has won. Please join the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra for an unforgettable evening.

VIP reception tickets with a photo op are $500 per person and include dinner.

General admission dinner roast tickets are $125 per person.

For more ticket information call the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra Box Office at 337-232-4277, or visit their website at www.acadianasymphony.org.

Tickets are on sale now. All proceeds from ticket sales and memorabilia will go to the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra.
