The Zachary Area French Preservation Club's Sally Charlet Jones, a retired French teacher from Zachary, will be giving French lessons to adults who would like to learn the language or just brush up on their current skills.

There is no charge for the lessons, and classes begin Monday, Sept. 19, from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the Zachary Library, 1900 Church St.

"French Made Simple" will be used as a guide.
