• The Zachary High School Bronco football team will head to Central High School to begin District 4-5A play on Friday, Oct. 7. The Broncos will take on the CHS Wildcats. Kick off is at 7 p.m.

Tickets for this game important game for the Broncos went on sale Oct. 4 and can be purchased in the ZHS Academic/Athletic building on the ZHS campus.

• On Wednesday, Oct. 5, the Freshmen/JV Bronco footbal team hosts Central at Bronco Stadium. Kick off is at 5:30 p.m.

• The Northeast High Vikings will travel to Redemptorist Field to compete against the RHS Wolves on Friday, Oct. 7.

• The Baker High Buffaloes, who shut Vidalia out last week with a 55-0 win, will pack it on the road and travel to St. Francisville to take on the West Feliciana High School Saints.

The Buffaloes begin District 6-3A play.

Baker High will also host WAFB Channel 9's Game Day pep-rally on Friday beginning at 5 a.m. in the BHS gym.

• On Thursday, Oct. 6, the ZHS Lady Bronco Volleyball JV/Varsity teams host Walker High School @ ZHS in the school gym beginning at 5 p.m.

• On Saturday, Oct. 8, the ZHS Cross Country team heads to Highland Road Park, 13800 Highland Road, to compete in the Catholic High Invitational.

• Also on Saturday, the ZHS Lady Bronco Freshmen Volleyball team heads to St. Joseph's Academy, 3015 Broussard St., in Baton Rouge, to compete in the SJA tournament.
