This painting by Janice Evans is entitled "Invitation" and will be one of many paintings on exhibit.
This collection was inspired by the historic highway that traverses the great state of Louisiana. The exhibit will also help kick off the Lousiana State Bicentennial (1912-2012).
An opening reception, which is free and open to the public, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 14 from 2 - 4 p.m. at the West Baton Rouge Parish Museum, 845 North Jefferson Ave, in Port Allen.
