To give fans a chance to make their mark, Threadless, the international community-driven design platform with more than 1.8 million members, partnered with 11 universities to challenge students, alumni and fans to create a t-shirt design inspired by their school mascot. The chosen designers received an iPad2 and Adobe® Creative Suite® 5 and have a chance to win its university art department $5,000 donated by Threadless.

Students, alumni and fans were invited to submit a re-imagined design of their school mascot that could be worn by fans for many victories to come. Artists were asked to stay true to the school colors and to use or not use the school logo at their own discretion.
The chosen designs are available for sale at Threadless.com and a portion of the sales from the selected design go back to the respective university.
