Byrd (Shreveport) High Schools. Neville High School, also from West Monroe, competed in the tournament as well.

Tournament play began last Thursday when Barbe defeated West Monroe 11 - 2, followed by the Broncos' victory over Neville High, 9 - 2.

The mighty Broncos finished the tournament in a tie for first place with 3 wins and 1 loss, as did West Monroe who also finished at 3 -1.

Congratulations, and way to go, Broncos!

C.E. Byrd High School finished second, with 2 wins, 2 losses.
