Zachary United Methodist Church, 4205 Church St., will be sponsoring its 2nd annual Free Health Fair in Zachary on Saturday, April 21, from 9 a.m. until noon.

Health care professionals from Lane Regional Medical Center, BA Imaging, Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center and Louisiana Hematology Oncology Associates will be on hand for fair attendees.

The health fair will also feature free health screenings and information for the entire community.

Free health screenings include blood glucose check, blood pressure check, body mass index (BMI), cancer screenings and vascular screenings.

Health education information provided will include frequently asked questions about cancer, medication information, heart disease and stroke awareness and information on the WIC Program.

In addition, ZUMC will provide plenty of activities for kids.
