The Zachary Rotary Club is active in the community with various service projects that support Zachary community schools. One of the club's annual projects, is a reading initiative where members volunteer to read to Northwestern Elementary School. On Thursday, March 29, about 12 members volunteered to read "The Berenstain Bears Clean House" by Stan Berenstain and Jan Berenstain, to 16 kindergarten classes.
