The Hands of Stone boxing gym has relocated to BRECs Pride Road Park, located at 15971 Pride-Port Hudson Road, in Pride.

The Hands of Stone boxing team, local boxers who train at the park, traveled to Lake Charles for the Health System 2000 belt tournament held in April.

Five members of the team traveled to enter the tournment, however only three were able to be matched - Jarred Young, Malcolm Miller and Henry Allen II - the other members, Dilliyn Knighten and Delwin Deamer, won unopposed.

Miller made it to the semi-finals; Young won the championship round by defeating Trey Burton of Elite Boxing; and Allen won by defeating Juan Martinez of East Texas and advanced to the finals.

If you would like more information on Hands of Stone, please contact Coach Kevin Allen at 225-241-3388 or stop by the gym Monday - Thursday 5-7 p.m.
