Landry spoke to the crowd on the steps of the Capitol about his new partnership with Tony Chachere’s for the sandwich sauce line. “I’ve used Tony Chachere’s seasoning in all of my recipes for years so I’m excited to be teaming up with them for their new sandwich sauce line,” Landry said. “I want everyone to use ’em! Use ’em!”
Tony Chachere’s introduced four new sandwich sauces that replace mayonnaise, mustard, and ketchup on any type of food. They can even be used as a dressing, and they're great as a dip! They come in four distinct flavors: Creole, Bar-B-Que, Zesty, and Spicy-Sweet.
All of the flavors are versatile, but each flavor is especially good when paired with certain foods.
Bar-B-Que is great on brisket, pulled pork, hamburgers, and chicken strips. Zesty is especially good on roast beef, and when you use it to make coleslaw and chicken and potato salads. Creole is your traditional flavor, and it’s perfect with foods like pork and crab cakes. And last - but not least, is spicy-sweet; great on seafood and sushi.
The four sauces will hit the shelves in almost every major grocery store in Louisiana throughout the month of June.
“We are very excited to add this new line of sauces to our product name,” says Don Chachere, President and CEO of Tony Chachere’s Creole Foods. “Our goal has always been to enhance flavor with our products and we feel like these sauces do just that!”
As part of the announcement, Tony Chachere’s presented state Senators, Representatives and Legislative staff with a lunch showcasing the exciting new sandwich sauce flavors.
Samples were also made available for the public to try.
