The Baton Rouge Metro Airport will hold its 7th Annual Small Business Opportunities Workshop on Thursday, June 21, at the Baton Rouge River Center, 275 South River Rd.

Registration and networking begins at 8:30 a.m.

Morning session, from 9 a.m. -Noon - "Doing Business with the Airport"

Afternoon session, 1 - 3 p.m. - "Small Business Resources"

This free event is for all firms interested in pursuing work at the Baton Rouge Metro Airport (BTR).

The BTR Small Business Opportunities Workshop will allow attendees to network with local firms of all sizes while learning more about pursuing business opportunities with the airport. Representatives will be available from BTR, LA DOTD, Small Business Assistance Programs and the City of Baton Rouge to provide valuable advice and answer questions such as:

• What upcoming business opportunities are available at the airport?

• Does my firm qualify for the airport's new Small Business Program?

• What are the airport's DBE requirements for bids and proposals?

• What resources are available to small businesses?

 

Registration is free, and a complimentary lunch will be provided.

Exhibitor booths are free for government and non-profit organizations; and they are available for $100 for other businesses and organizations.
