The Zachary Police Department is looking for the whereabouts of a Zachary man who has several outstanding warrants from Zachary City Court and surrounding law enforcement agencies, Police Chief David McDavid said.

Christopher Barnes, 29, has a previous address of 3827 Lee St. in Zachary, but McDavid says Barnes can no longer be found at that address.

Zachary City Court has issued seven warrants for his arrest including driving under suspension (three counts), running a stop sign, contempt of court (two counts) and headlights required, said McDavid.

Barnes is described as measuring 5'8" tall and weighing about 140 lbs.

McDavid said Barnes failed to appear for his arraignment in Zachary City Court on Wednesday, May 2, and is also in contempt of court for failure to appear for several payments scheduled on that date as well.

If you know of Barnes' whereabouts, please contact the Zachary PD at 654-9393 or 654-1905 immediately.
