Tara LeeAnn LeJeune of Zachary and Donald Benjamin Zachary of Zachary, were married Saturday, May 5, 2012, in a one o’clock ceremony at Christ the King Catholic Church in Baton Rouge. The ceremony was officiated by Fr. Todd Lloyd.

Jan Dupre, pianist and organist, and Amanda Levert, vocalist, provided music for the ceremony. A reception followed at Christ the King Community Center with musical entertainment provided by Geaux Live DJ.

The breathtaking floral decor for the ceremony and the reception was designed by Lance Hayes Florist. The bride and groom’s cakes were created by Baum’s Bakery. Photographic memories were placed throughout the venue and were provided by Warren Conerly Photography.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael LeJeune of Zachary. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jenkins of Baker and the late Mr. and Mrs. Delma LeJeune of Port Allen.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Zachary of Zachary. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Rabalais of Zachary, Mrs. Ora Lee Greer of Huntsville, Alabama, and the late Ralph Zachary of Jackson.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless ivory lace gown with a pearl rose satin underlay designed by Maggie Sottoro, and featuring sparkling sequins and beading.

She wore her grandmother’s pearl necklace and pearl earrings gifted by the groom. Carried along with her bouquet were her mother’s crystal rosary and her grandfather’s handkerchief. Her bridal bouquet was composed of yellow calla lilies, orange ranunculus, white freesia and two birds of paradise, in remembrance of her grandparents.

Maid of honor was Jessica Lamana and matron of honor, Summer Russum. Bridesmaids were Brandy LeJeune, Amanda Tullia, Jennifer Kimble, Mallory Arbour and Carlin Chambliss.

Flower girls were Alania Guillory and Paige Buckley, who walked down the aisle holding flower balls of orange and yellow spray roses. Tayler, Jennifer and Grace Kimble were hostesses.

Best man was Donald Zachary, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Ryan Jackson, Grant Smith, Alex Granger, Zac Templet, Derek Fontenot and Adam Cupit.

Ring Bearer was Jaxson Williams. Ushers included Michael Kimble, Tandem Blanchard, Shawn Gros and Jonathan Eversberg.

Following a honeymoon trip to Antigua, the couple will reside in Zachary.
