On Monday, Aug. 20, student-athletes and coaches took to the field one-by-one, team-by-team for their introductions to fellow-students, teachers, family, friends and fans during the bi-annual Meet the Broncos event held in Bronco Stadium.

Zachary High's fall sports season consists of student-athletes from the Bronco football, cheerleading and dance teams, as well as the band, flags, football team's trainers and Grid Iron Girls.

The cross country, swim and volleyball teams also make up fall sports at ZHS.

Coaches introduced their players to the Zachary community, which enjoyed performances by the Bronco Belles, ZHS Cheerleaders, Flag Corps and Band of Blue.

The fall football season begins tonight - Friday, Aug. 24 - with a season-opening jamboree at Denham Springs High School.

The Denham Springs Jamboree begins at 5:30 p.m. with the ZHS Broncos in the opening time slot taking on the Baker High Buffaloes.

Following ZHS and Baker, the East Feliciana Tigers take on the Central High Wildcats, who will be followed by Denham Springs facing the West Feliciana Saints.

All games will be played in two 12-minute halves.

Denham Springs High School is located at 1000 Range Avenue in Denham.
