NEW IBERIA – Services were Saturday for legendary Cajun musician Willis Touchet. He died Nov. 19 at age 86.
He was a fiddler with the Touchet Brothers Band, whose songwriting and performing helped shape modern Cajun music. He was a holder of the Cajun French Music Association Pioneer Award.
Arrangements were by Pellerin.
Decorated aviator, businessman
LAFAYETTE – Services are Monday for decorated veteran and air conditioning executive Warren Butcher. He died Nov. 22 at age 92.
He held the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with 10 clusters from service as a B-26 bombardier in the European Theater of World War II. He flew 63 missions.
He and brothers Tom and Matt founded Butcher Air Conditioning, from which he retired in 1975. He served on the boards of Lafayette General Hospital and First National Bank.
Survivors include a daughter.

Cajun accordion maker
JUDICE – Services for legendary Cajun accordion maker and musician Anthony Falcon were Sunday. He died Nov. 23 at age 86.
He was a US Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Cajun Music Hall of Fame.
Survivors include two sons.

Admiralty lawyer
NEW ORLEANS – Services for noted admiralty attorney George Healy, III were Saturday. He died Nov. 20 at age 82.
He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War and practiced at Phelps Dunbar. He represented the US at a number of international admiralty law conferences and was a championship Labrador retriever trainer.
Survivors include his wife Sharon, four sons and a daughter.
Arrangements were y Lakelawn, Metairie.
Retired bottling exec
ALEXANDRIA – Services for bottling executive Glen Bordelon are Monday. He died Nov. 23 at age 59.
He was retired regional manager for Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Texas for National Beveral Company. He previously lived in Baton Rouge and Lake Charles.
Survivors include his wife Susan and a daughter.
Arrangements are by John Kramer & Son.
Decorated officer, educator
GREENWELL SPRINGS – Services for retired colonel and educator Oadis Owen will be Tuesday. He died Nov. 24 at age 89.
He was a US Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and held three Bronze Stars, the Air Medal and five Oak Clusters. Following his military retirement as a full colonel he obtained his master’s at LSU and taught math at Baker and Istrouma High Schools and was assistant principal at Central Private School. He taught in public and private schools for more than 40 years.
Survivors include his wife Ruby, a son and a daughter.
Arrangements are by Green Oaks.
Former Loyola dean
NEW ORLEANS – Services for former Loyola University dean Dr. John “Skip” Cave will be Dec. 2. He died Nov. 22 at age 73.
He joined Loyola in 1972 and later became dean of its business school, leaving in 1989. He later became dean of the business school at Fort Lewis (Colo.) College. He owned a number of small businesses.
Survivors include a son and a daughter.
Arrangements are by Jacob Schoen & Son.
Retired Tulane prof
DESTREHAN – Services for retired Tulane professor Ethel Eaton were Sunday. She died Nov. 23 at age 84.
She was a faculty member of the Tulane Medical School for 35 years.
Survivors include a brother.
