Baker's Rides for Toys Dec. 14

Today is the last day for Baker Fire and Police Departments to be conducting their annual Rides for Toys event.

On Friday, Dec. 14, Baker Firefighters will be trading rides in their firetruck for new, unwrapped toys donated by citizens and children.

Baker Police Officers will also be trading rides in their D.A.R.E. cars for a new, unwrapped toy.

The BFD and BPD will be in the Baker Walmart parking lot at the corner of Groom and Plank Roads from 5 - 9 p.m. trading the rides for toys.

All toys donated will be distributed to families in need at Christmas by the the Baker Rotary Club, said the service organization's president, Ginger Vann.
