The DELTA Narcotics Task Force includes law enforcement personnel from Baker, Zachary and St. Francisville Police Departments and East Baton Rouge, West Feliciana and Pointe Coupee Sheriff's Offices and Baton Rouge Constable's Office.
Zachary Police Chief David McDavid said searches were conducted at the same time at two residences on Avenue G Thursday afternoon where four individuals were arrested and taken into custody, two of them known drug dealers.
At 4735 Avenue G, DELTA officers discovered an unspecified amount of marijuana, 18 Lortab (hydrocodone) pills and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Tyrus "TC" Johnson, 25, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of Schedule III narcotics.
At the 4779 Avenue G residence, officers discovered an unspecified amount of crack cocaine, a small quantity of powder cocaine, a Taurus Judge firearm (pistol) and some cash, said McDavid.
Arrested was Roger "Roger Rabbit" Hill, 53, who was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and illegal carrying of a weapon.
Chief McDavid said later that same afternoon, officers were called back to the 4779 Avenue G home on a call of a burglary in progress.
Once the officers arrived, two women who are believed to be related to Hill, were arrested for stealing items from the home.
Lacrisha McKenzie, 25, was charged with being a fugitive from the Baker PD, simple burglary, illegal possession of stolen things and possession of a legend drug without a prescription.
Also arrested was Mary Johnson, 33, for simple burglary.
All four individuals were booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
Mary Johnson's booking photo was unavailable at the time of this posting.
