A native of Zachary, she is responsible for coordinating all aspects of nursing care for the unit, including patient satisfaction, staffing and physician relations.
Spears has more than 30 years of health care experience. Previously, she was Telemetry Unit Director, Quality Resources Director, and a Quality Resources Case Manager.
Spears is currently a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and attends Greater Philadelphia Baptist Church, where she is a member of the choir and oversees the Nursing Ministry.
In addition, she volunteers with the Chaneyville Community Improvement committee.
Spears has two adult children and one granddaughter, Payton, age 16 months.
