The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Committee of Zachary will be celebrating its annual Candlelight March honoring the legacy of Dr. King on Monday, Jan. 21.

This year's theme is "What are you doing to make a difference?"

The annual march will be held this evening, beginning at 6 p.m. and starting in front of Zachary City Hall and ending at the New Pilgrim Baptist Church, with a program to follow at 6:30 p.m.

Rev. Errol Domingue, Pastor of New Pilgrim Baptist Church and Elm Grove Baptist Church, will serve as speaker for the evening.

The MLK, Jr. Committee is asking all church choir members to participate in the choir this evening, which will be under the leadership of the Ministry of Music's Brother Thomas Scott.

The MLK, Jr. Committee extends a special invitation to all parents to bring their children to take part in the march.

Door prizes and school supplies will be given away.

However, children must be present to receive supplies.
