Attending a baby shower held on Saturday, April 5, at Northside Assembly of God Church Hall, honoring Mr. and Mrs. Achord of Crowley were, seated, from left, Shirley Achord, Barbara LaBorde and Victoria and Justin Achord, honorees; standing, Mallory Achord, Kerri Bertrand, Christie Louvier, Hannah Helton and Patsy Singley.
For the special occasion, the mother-to-be wore a black shirt and jeans and the father-to-be wore a matching black shirt with white stripes and jeans.
Victoria was presented with a corsage made of two yellow beanie hats rolled-up and wrapped with a yellow feather boa and beads.
Hosting the affair were Hannah Helton, Patsy Singley, Barbara LaBorde, Mallory Achord, Christie Louvier and Kerri Bertrand.
The church hall was decorated with a Noah’s Ark theme. Approximately 30 guest attended.
The couple are expecting the arrival of their new bundle of joy on May 6.
This is the couple’s first child.
