Hebert, a 4.0 honor student at Teurlings Catholic High School, was presented a check and certificate by Chamber President Bart Hebert.
Hebert, co-captain of the nationally ranked Teurlings Catholic Rebel Revue, said was excited to receive the money because it will help defray the cost of her college course textbooks, and help in her transportation fuel bills to get to school next year.
She will attend ULL with the intention of becoming a pharmacist.
