Survivors include her father, J. C. Smith of Columbus, Miss.; her mother, Angela Kay Buford of Breaux Bridge; her maternal grandfather, Aaron P. Knott of Breaux Bridge; and her maternal grandmother, Theresa D. Barrett of Breaux Bridge.
