Entry fees, which include entry into most photogenic, are as follows: ages zero-11 years is $30 per contestant; and ages 12 – 23 years is $60 per contestant. Siblings will receive $5 off entry fees. Crowns will be awarded to all queens and knights, along with a monogrammed banner for each division. Each contestant will receive a participation gift.
This is a Sunday best and natural beauty pageant. No pageant wear, excessive makeup or “big hair” will be accepted for ages zero-11 years. Judges will be made aware of this stipulation. Attire for ages 10-11 is party wear, semi-formal and tea-length. Dress for ages 12-23 years is formal attire for evening gown competition and interview suit for Teen and Miss divisions and Sunday best for Junior division.
The Miss Queen has the option to attend the Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festivals Queen of Queens Pageant in February 2009.
Divisions are as follows: (age by date of pageant)
Wee Baby Queen and Knight: zero-six months.
Baby Queen and Knight: seven-12 months.
Tiny Toddler Queen and Knight: 13-23 months.
Toddler Tournoi Queen and Knight: two years.
Tee Niny Tournoi Queen and Knight: three years.
Tee Tiny Tournoi Queen and Knight: four years.
Tiny Tournoi Queen and Knight: five years.
Petite Queen: six-seven years.
Little Queen: eight-nine years.
Deb Queen: 10-11 years.
Junior Queen: 12-13 years.
Teen Queen: 14-16 years.
Louisiana Tournoi Queen: 17-23 years (and not older than 23 years of age on January 1, 2009).
Enter before September 17, and receive $5 off the entry fee for ages zero-11 and $10 off for ages 12-23. Door entries will be accepted up to 30 minutes prior to the start of each category with a $10 late fee.
