Well... I will start with eating a few of my words from my last week’s column.

By no means am I contradicting what Isaid -those were my true feelings- but I did react in sort of a hasty manner.

I was a little perturbed by the selfish actions and attitudes from some of our fellow Americans, I voiced my opinion without thinking of the consequences of my words.

I’ve always been a very open mined and somewhat of a opinionated person, but those who know me know that I usually mean well.

So, whether you are a family member, a friend, a co-worker or a member of the community I offer my apologizes if I offended you in any way.

I am new to this column writing business, and I am really trying my hardest to do a good job.

I guess the only way for me to learn is from my own mistakes. And most importantly I need to realize that some things, like personal opinions, are just better left unsaid or -at the least- not said in such a public way.

On a second note, I will change the subject and welcome back all of the social groups.

Most of the clubs ended their program year in May and are now starting back up for a new program year.

Recently, I have had the honor to visit several of the clubs opening meetings and it was really nice to see all of them again. They all looked so happy to be together again after such a long summer break.

There are still a few of the social clubs that I haven’t heard from yet and I am hoping I will be doing so very soon. I wouldn’t want to miss your first meetings.

Please call me as soon as possible and let me know the date, time and location of your next meeting and I will be more than happy to go out and take a photograph for the Lifestyles section of the paper.

Sincerely,

Pam Venissat,

Lifestyles Editor
