Dorothy Cezare, 58, of Eunice died Thursday, October 2, at Opelousas General Hospital in Opelousas.

She is survived by her three daughters: Serena (David) Chapman, Felicia (Gerald) Edwards, Margo (Anthony) Guillory, all of Eunice; three sisters: Diana Jones of Los Angeles, CA, Gloria Fontenot and Katherine Ceasar, both of Lake Charles; three brothers: Presley Ceasar of Gilbert, AZ, Swiney Ceasar of Lake Charles, and Thurline Ceasar of Columbus, OH; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Guy and Syrenia Ceasar; god-parents, Henry and Elga Guillory; and three brothers, Harold, Roland, and Warren Ceasar.

Visitation will be held at New Zion Baptist Church from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, October 11 with a rosary at 10 AM. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM with interment following in the St. Ann’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Mallet. Rev. Dennis Gautreaux will officiate the service.
