The arrests were recorded at the Evangeline Parish Jail as follows:
•Joseph Wayne Bias, 48, 2706 Tate Cove Road, Ville Platte, was charged October 11, with DWI (first offense) and speeding (73 in a 55 mph zone). Bias was released on a $1,226.50 bond.
•Charles Keith Bourgeois, 52, 190 Joshua Road, Church Point, was charged October 12, with driving left of center with an accident and hit and run. Bourgeois was released on a $534 bond.
