The general public is invited to participate in a workshop—“Vegetable Gardening and Your Health”—scheduled for Oct. 30, at 5:30 p.m.
The location for the program is St. Martin Parish Library, 201 Porter St., St. Martinville.
Topics to be discussed at the workshop include the following: growing vegetables and herbs; soil preparation tips; drip irrigation installations; nutritional benefits of vegetable crops; and pastured poultry.
