Angela Marie Dugas of Carencro and Brian Charles Gaspard of Maurice were united in Holy Matrimony on November 8, 2008 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Carencro. The seven thirty in the evening ceremony was officiated by Father Bill Melancon and music was provided by Naomi Broussard.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Linda Dugas and the late Davis Dugas of Carencro. She is the grand daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Melancon of Leonville.

The groom is the son of Raymond and Earline Gaspard of Maurice. He is the grand son of Mrs. Amy Gaspard and the late Gladue Gaspard of Forked Island.

Angela was escorted down the aisle by her brother, Kevin Dugas. Her Matron of Honor was Cindy Dugas, sister of the bride. Serving as bridesmaids were Paula Cedatol, cousin of the bride; Tina Lee, cousin of the bride; and Danielle Foreman, godchild of the groom.

The Best Man was Raymond Gaspard, father of the groom. Groomsmen for the ceremony included Mike Guidry, friend of the groom; Shane Dugas, brother of the bride and Kaleb Gaspard, son of the groom.

Flower Girls for the wedding included Abigail Dugas and Emily Dugas, both nieces of the bride. They were escorted by the groom’s son, Bryce Gaspard.

Serving as ushers were Brent Toups, cousin of the bride and Derek Hargrave, a friend of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Magnolia Court. After returning from a trip to Sandals in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Maurice.
