JEFF DAVIS PARISH GRAVITY DRAINAGE DISTRICT #1 SUB A BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING HELD AT THE LAKE ARTHUR RICE DRIER, INC.

Sidney Theriot called the October 1, 2008 meeting of the Jeff Davis Gravity Drainage District #1 Sub A to order at 8 a.m. to get financial statements and minutes from the last meeting.

Motion made by Jerry Hartwell, seconded by Tommy Williams, to accept the minutes, pay bills, submit and send bills to the Police Jury for appproval. Motion was unanimously approved.

Motion made by Jerry Hartwell, seconded by Ronnie Guidry, to move money from savings to checking. Motion was unanimously approved.

Motion was made by Rene Daboval, seconded by Jerry Hartwell, to accept the milage rates for the tax year 2008 8.56 miles. Motion was unanimously approved.

See attached resolution.

Motion was made by Tommy Williams, seconded by Ronnie Guidry, to spray with plane Mitchell Bayou, Thornwell Canal, west part of L-1C-1 and L-1C. Motion was unanimously approved.

Motion was made by Ronnie Guidry, seconded by Tommy Williams, to clean bridges on Hwy. 14 and Potter Road, Guidry Bridge, and Hwy. 14 and 99. Motion was unanimously approved.

Motion was made by Tommy Williams, seconded by Ronnie Guidry to hand spray L-1D, L-1D-1, L-1D-3, L-1D-2, L-2D, L-1M, L-H-1, L-G-2, L-G-1A, L-G-1, and Potter Road north of L-1 on east side. Motion was unanimously approved.

Motion was made by Ronnie Guidry, seconded by Tommy Williams, to spray with helicopter at Parish Line L-1 to Hwy. 14. L-1-C at Y west to L-1 and not exceed $4,000. Motion was unanimously approved.

Motion was made by Jerry Hartwell, seconded by Tommy Williams, and carried that the meeting be adjourned.
