Mr. Clark, Miss McCauley set December nuptials

The engagement of Miss Whitni Taelar McCauley to Mr. Derek Craig Clark, the son of Willie Glenn Clark II of Bayou Chicot and Sally Elizabeth Yielding of Pine Prairie, has been announced by her parents, Kenneth and Kimberly McCauley of Woodworth.

The couple will exchange wedding vows Wednesday, December 31, 2008, during a 7 p.m. ceremony at the Northside Civic Center.

Miss McCauley, whose mother is the former Kimberly Duos of Woodworth, is the granddaughter of Carroll and Jane Duos and Ervin and Becky McCauley. Her great-grandparents are Ella Joubert Ortego, the late John and Dovey Duos, the late Elton and Aline McCauley, Frank Vidrine and Evy and Niece Granger.

A 2008 graduate of Alexandria Senior High School, she is currently attending LSUA, where she is pursuing a degree in radiology.

Mr. Clark is the grandson of J.B. and Doris Yielding, Willie Glenn Clark and Cheryl Lafleur. He is the great-grandson of Ruth Clark and Telou Fontenot.

He attended Pine Prairie High School and is currently employed with Diversified Electric.
