Martha Lee Rick Anthony Lanier was born October 23, 1957 and passed away at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at her residence in Husser. She was 51 and a native of Amite.

Religious services were held at McKneely and Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kent Newell officiating and interment in Lee Hill Cemetery, Folsom.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Lanier; two sons, Adam Wayne Anthony, Ponchatoula, Byrun Gene Anthony Sr. and wife, Cindy, Amite; three grandchildren, Mason Langley Anthony, Byrun Gene Anthony, Jr. and Annabell Anthony; two sisters, Melinda Howes, Husser and Mary Ann Cox and husband, Jim, Husser; three brothers, Monroe "Buster" Rick and wife, Julie, Tickfaw, Michael Rick, Hammond and Mitchell Rick and wife, Terri, Robert and numerous other extended family.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe S. and Mary Abernathy Rick; husband, Shelton "Red" Anthony; a sister, Marilyn Rick "Sunshine" Dugar.
