Mr. and Mrs. Robert Trahan of Cecilia announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Hallie Lynne Trahan, to Kyle Edwin Guidry on Saturday, January 9, 2009, at Our Lady of Wisdom Catholic Church in Lafayette. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Batiste “Sonny” Moran of Baton Rouge and Mitchelle “Mike” Trahan of Cecilia and the late Louella Trahan. She is a graduate of Cecilia High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is employed as a pre-kindergarten teacher at Cecilia Primary. The groom-elect is the son of Kurt Guidry of Houston, Texas, and Lillie Breaux of Maurice, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Norille Menard of Breaux Bridge and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Guidry. He is a graduate of Breaux Bridge High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is employed by Allstate Insurance.
