CROWLEY – Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 10 p.m. at St. Aloysius Church in Midland for Lucille R. Marceaux, 80, who died Thursday, December 18, 2008 at Gueydan Memorial Guest Home.

Burial took place at Estherwood Memorial Cemetery.

She is survived by one son, James Hoby and wife Bonnie Marceaux of Crowley; two daughters, Chris and husband James Penn of Midland and Paula and husband Dickie Benoit of Midland; seven grandchildren, Jeremy Marceaux of Mermentau Cove, Rusty and wife Michelle Marceaux of Mermentau Cove, Jamie Marceaux of Mermentau Cove, Joshua Penn of Midland, Jacob Penn of Midland, Megan Benoit of Estherwood and Ashley and husband Jim Oliver of Crowley; eight great-grandchildren, Christopher and Maken Myers, Mylei and Shay Smith, Addison Penn, Ian Marceaux, and Makenzi and Breana Oliver; and two sisters, Helen and husband Wilbert Guidry of Crowley and Irene and husband Murphy Istre of New Iberia.

Ms. Marceaux is preceded in death by her husband Tommy Marceaux; her parents, Elde and Lydia Gaspard Marceaux; and one brother, Hallet Romero.
