Funeral services will be held Thursday,January 22, 2009, at 11 a.m. in St.Edward Catholic Church in Richard, with Father  Dan Edwards officiating, for Delton Breaux, 65, of Richard, who died at 8:25 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2009, in the Acadian Medical Center in Eunice.
Burial was in Arceneaux Cemetery in Rayne.
Visitation was observed from 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of services on Thursday. 
A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2009 in the funeral home chapel.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Breaux, Richard; two daughters Patsy and Rob Cantor, Tennessee, and Lenora and Cale Deville, Richard; five brothers Leo Breaux, Louis Breaux, Jr., and Charles Ricky Breaux, all of Richard, James Breaux, Duson, and John Breaux, Lafayette; two sisters, Judy Boutin, Richard, and Kathy Guidry, Lafayette; and six grandchildren. Miranda Miller, Brandon Lewis, Anna Lewis, Chase Michael Deville, Chance Joseph Deville and Leigha Beth Deville.
Delton was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Lenora Breaux, Sr.; his stepmother, Rosa Mae Breaux; and one sister, Lena Mae Bourque.
