Joel A. Davis died Monday, January 19, 2009 at Sherwood Manor Nursing Home, Baton Rouge. He was 71, a native of Amite and a resident of Baton Rouge.
Religious services were held at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Addis Davis, Baton Rouge; two daughters, Elizabeth Davis Blanton, Robert and Bonnie Davis Fruge, Madisonville; three brothers, James A. Davis, Destrehan, A. Thomas Davis, Montpelier and David M. Davis, Alvin, Texas; three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Albert Davis; mother, Myth Bornes Davis Cambre.
