MAMOU - The Mamou Police Department reported nine recent arrests.



The following persons were charged:

•Konstance Guillory, 20, 1545 Fusilier Road, Mamou, was charged March 4, with simple battery. Guillory was released on a bond.

•Dejuan M. Guillory, 19, 1326 Eleventh St., Lake Charles, was charged March 4, with second-degree battery. Guillory was transported to the Evangeline Parish Jail.

•Reginald J. Patin, 19, 539 Botley Cemetery Road, Kinder, was charged March 5, with disturbing the peace by loud music. Patin was released on a bond.

•Tiffany Dawn Fruge, 26, 1414 Ardoin St., Basile, was charged March 7, with theft of Schedule II narcotics (methadone), theft of Schedule III narcotics (valium), theft of Schedule IV narcotics (lortabs), illegal possession of Schedule II narcotics (methadone), illegal possession of Schedule III narcotics (valium), illegal possession of Schedule IV narcotics (lortabs), possession of soma and aggravated battery. Fruge was transported to the Evangeline Parish Jail.

•Franchescha Clayton, 24, 1003 Elm St., Mamou, was charged March 8, with disturbing the peace by loud music. At press time, no bond information was available.

•Larry Mills, 72, 1416 Redlich Road, Ville Platte, was charged March 9, with speeding and suspended driver’s license. Mills was transported to the Evangeline Parish Jail.

•Tyrone Howard, 36, 517 Austin Road, Youngsville, was charged March 9, with careless operation and leaving the scene of an accident. Howard was released on a bond.

•Joseph C. Fontenot, 26, 1310 State St., Jennings, was charged March 10, with disturbing the peace by loud music. Fontenot was released on a bond.

•Gregory Guillory, 25, 308 Chestnut St., Mamou, was charged March 10, with having a disorderly place. Guillory was released on a bond.
