CROWLEY – Eric V. Beverly, 26, of Crowley died on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at American Legion Hospital due to complications from gunshot wounds.

A celebration of Eric’s life will be held Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Northside Assembly with the Bishop Lewis Dugar of Greater Love Church presiding.

Viewing will take place at Northside Assembly Church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Internment will be in Branch, La.

Eric was born in Rayne on March 26, 1982 to Amelia Marie Beverly and the late Joseph Wilbert Moore Sr. He was a loving, fun person who was loved by many.

He leaves to mourn his loving mother Amelia Marie Beverly of Crowley; his fiance Erica Bias of Crowley; four beloved sons, Eric Von-Kerry Beverly Jr., Ty’Reek Von-Eric Beverly, Ty’Rise Von-Derek Beverly, and Je Marion Thomas; three sisters, Katina Beverly (Corey), Shonquilla Beverly (Gavin), and Ashanti Moore (Irvin) all of whom are from Crowley; five brothers, Joseph Moore Jr. (Ann) of Rayne, Keneth Moore, Anhony Moore (Keisha), Chandler Moore (Na-Na), and Renaldo Moore (Connie) as well as a host of relatives and friends.

Eric was preceded in death by his loving father Joseph Wilbert Moore Sr.; one brother, Tyrone Moore; one sister, Tarantula Beverly; a maternal grandmother Leethel Savoy; and a paternal grandmother Lorena Moore.
